Actually, he isn't a fan of our yard, he'd rather run around everyone elses yards.
He is also really loving riding Lighting McQueen around. Too bad the hallway is the longest stretch of straightness for him.
This weekend was especially nice so Jennifer took him to the park while I watched the #1 Kansas Jayhawks dismantle the lowly Tigers.
He fell and did not want to touch the pebbles so he tried his best to get up without using his hands.
On Sunday, I took him to play in the back yard but he was more interested in the big kids down the street so he took off to get a closer look. They were all riding their little motorized cars so we went and got Lightning and let Maddox hit the open road.
After driving around for a while, Maddox became really interested in the neighbor's dog, Daisy.
Daisy just wanted to be left alone so she took off and Maddox took off after her, yelling her name as he chased her down.
On Wednesday, I went to the KU-KSU game. We got to zoom past all of the students waiting to get in and had a row of seats reserved for us because I am a VIP. It was Sherron Collin's senior night and there were many signs, this was the most impressive:
After the game, we were escorted to the front row that was left vacated by K-State to watch the senior night speech. They had all of the trophies the team has won while Sherron has been there:
Coach Self spoke for a bit
Then Sherron took the mic
At the end of his speech, he pointed me out and gave me a special thanks*
*He could have been pointing at his family behind us.
