We've been staying busy the past few months with getting Sage in a routine, Maddox getting older and trying to keep them both happy. We took them on a quick picnic when the weather was nice.
Maddox enjoyed climbing and sliding

Sage enjoyed watching him

Although he had fun, you would never be able to tell from the pics. When the camera comes out, the smiles run and hide.

A few days after our picnic, Elizabeth and Chris came up and we all went to Deanna Rose for their pumpkin patch activities. First we checked out the animals again.

Maddox wouldn't pet the goats
but he would get in their faces and yell at them to wake up
After the animals, we all took a hayride to the pumpkin patch

We did the corn maze
By this point, Maddox had had enough, we had just gotten to the pumpkin patch and it was already time to go home.

He held it together long enough to pick out a few pumpkins

The next weekend, we had a visit from the Saunders family. Leighton was really interested in Sage

And her and Maddox had a great time playing together

She is such a cutie that we are already planning their wedding

Last weekend we headed to the Louisburg Cider Mill.
Of course, Maddox wouldn't smile

He got to play amongst some pumpkins again

And enjoyed an apple cider donut

He pulled around some wagons
and then rode around in a wagon
Sage just watched
Finally, when we got home, we got a few smiles
We took some pictures of Sage too

The next day, we converted Maddox's bed from a crib into a big boy bed

Goofing during dinner

Sage at play

Maddox ready to leave for daycare with his back pack and, of course, Dill.
