When Maddox told us he wanted to be Santa for Halloween we just laughed. We asked again a few days later what he wanted to be and he said the same thing, Santa. So Santa it is! Sage, of course, had to be his elf.
Last night Maddox wondered what Papi was going to be for Halloween. I asked him what he thought Papi should be. He said, "a ladybug." Haha! So we asked about Grammy, GP, Gran, Sean and me. His answers:
Grammy- A fly
GP- A power ranger
Gran- A chicken
Dad- Superman
Mom- A life jacket
There you have it!
We have had a week of Halloween fun! It all started last week with trick or treating at my work. It really is the best thing for kids. The kids walk the halls and get candy from all the cubes. We always end up with TONS of candy from there.
Maddox and Sage's good buddy, Jake, gets to come too because his daddy also works at Penton. These three are such good friends and had the best time.
Saturday, we went to a trunk or treat at Maddox's school. We met up at the Schoonover's house for a few pictures. Elliott and Henry were the cutest little dinosaurs.
The Saunders met us there for all the fun.
Sage the elf, Elliott the dinosaur, Leighton the beaver and Santa Maddox
Tails
Sage checking out Leighton's loot.
Sweet little cupcake, Ainsley
Cutie, Henry
They were exhausted from all the treating so they stopped to enjoy a hot dog.
Monday, we headed out to grandma's house for some goodies.
Maddox was in no mood for a smile but sassy little Sage was all about it.
Tuesday, Maddox had a Halloween party at school. I was able to catch the tail end of it. Everyone was pretty proud of their costumes.
Finally, Halloween is here! Our first treaters, Dorothy (Lydia) and the scarecrow (Elsie)!
Cousins! Again, Maddox in no mood to smile and the others being bribed by candy to smile. This is the best we could get but still cute.
Sadly, we only made it to 3 houses to trick or treat. Maddox was too embarrassed to go to the door and because of that, Sage thought she needed to be scared. So we came home and made it an early night. Sort of sad because last year they both loved it. There's always next year!
This is the only treating picture we got but it sure is cute.
