After a week of sickness (the FLU) we packed up and headed to the Lake. Thankfully, we were well enough to travel to enjoy the weekend of fun. We surprised Grammy, Mimi and Papi by getting there at 10:30am. Fun times! We were lucky enough to get to spend the day with Wyatt. Sage treated him to a book.
Papi got Maddox and Sage each a balloon for Valentine's Day. Sage's balloon popped and it was tragic! She was so so sad. The balloon was replaced the next day but she is still talking about her pink balloon popping.
On Saturday, we went to Elizabeth's bridal shop to search for bridesmaid dresses. Sage joined us while Maddox stayed to play with Uncle Ryan, Papi and Mimi. She was such a trooper.
She even got to show off her fancy dress.

Mimi was born and raised in Mississippi and has a bit of a southern accent. Maddox picked up on the accent this weekend. A 4 year old Kansas boy trying to talk like an 85 year old Mississippi grandma= hilarious!

We had a great weekend and were so happy to get to see Mimi. Fun times were had by all!
