Easter Sunday was finally here! Most of us opted to skip church to prepare for our trip to Fredericktown. But, before anyone left town, we found a note from the Easter Bunny.
Happy Easter!
I've hidden your Easter baskets in a very special place. When you see my magic beans you'll know I've been close and you are getting closer to your baskets! Follow my trail to get started. When you each have 10 magic beans, your baskets will be waiting.

We followed the first trail up the stairs and found...
THE MAGIC JELLY BEANS TURNED INTO SUCKERS!!!!
Best surprise ever!
While we were cleaning and getting ready to leave, Sage entertained sweet Ever.
And then the babies put on their Easter outfits. Adorable!
Uncle Jake's mom, Cecilia, is so kind and cooked us an Easter lunch at Kristin and Jake's to enjoy before we hit the road. She just so happens to be the best cook ever so we were spoiled with the best lunch!
Aunt Kristin set up an egg hunt for all the kiddos. Each kid had a color and were only allowed to get their color. It worked out great!
BUT, there was a golden egg and Maddox found it!
So excited!
After lunch we all traveled 3 hours east to Farmington. Papi and Grammy were already at the hotel waiting and had gotten everyone checked into their rooms. So, it worked out great because we were able to go straight to the pool! This was the perfect activity for Maddox and Sage to wear themselves out. Yay!
The kids had been finding the hidden jelly bean clues all day long. The beans were hidden in car seats, desserts, Aunt Elizabeth's car, the pool, the hotel room and Papi even found some in his pocket! Then, we found another trail...
...that FINALLY lead to the baskets!
Oh the excitement!
They waited ALL day for those baskets. It was a long one! That bunny is a tricky one.
We ordered dinner and ate at the hotel before calling it a night. This Easter isn't how we would have planned it but we made the most of the day and enjoyed the family time.
