Thanksgiving!
What a week it was.
We started off the holiday with a few turkeys.
My little turkeys gobbles these up!
Little sass was so excited to wear her first hand me down from Maddox.
Wednesday, Maddox was out of school, Sean had a half day of work, Sage had a half day of school and I had a few hours of work. As soon everyone finished their day we got on the road to the Lake and arrived just in time for a little Mexican food.
Sage was in baby heaven.
Thanksgiving day we up and out the door early for a turkey trot at the school.
Lucky for us it was FREEZING cold.
Elsa (one braid) and Anna (two braids)- Sage's request
Grammy and Reed getting bundled up.
Miss Ever
Wyatt and Sage ready to roll
Maddox had been very adamant that he was going to run the turkey trot. Sean decided not join the trot this year so it was Papi's job to stick with Maddox. Hahahaha!
I'm not sure anyone knew what Maddox was capable of. As soon as the race started, Maddox was off and running as fast as he could. I quickly decided to turn around and try to catch him at one at a different spot along the race route. We ran a little together and then I'd let him run a little ahead of me. He'd slow down and we'd meet back up.We did this most of the race. Kristin ran with him some but he was in a world of his own.
He's the little person in the back running alone.
He's running in front of the person with the tan coat.
Taking a walk break with me.
This little lady didn't last long. It was so cold that the babies didn't make it long outside so Sage joined them inside while we finished the trot.
As we were waiting for Maddox to finish his last lap around the school, Sage came out and asked when it was time to run. Ha! So, her and Kristin ran to the finish line.
Here he comes!!
Maddox Sutton Kearney finished his first 5k, at 6 years old, in 41 minutes and 48 seconds!!
We were so proud of him!

After all that running, it was time to EAT!
And, play with babies. Knox got the biggest kick out of Maddox.
The rest of the weekend was pretty relaxing. Some of us did some black Friday shopping and some of us just hung out at the house.
Let the holiday clothes begin!
Everyone needs a pair of Grinch jammies.
We did have some beautiful weather so the golf cart got lots of use.
And, the bird feeders got filled.
We, also, got to help Gracie celebrate her birthday.
Just like that the weekend was over. We were sad to see it come to an end but we are ready for some Christmas fun!
