"Making a List and Checking it Twice"

This wasn't the best week for the Kearney kids. They both came down with croup. Big bummer! Maddox had a mild case but Sage was miserable and it was so sad. Sean was out of town some of the week so I was flying solo. They both perked up right in time to visit Santa. Maddox and Sage couldn't wait to see Santa this year. They were so excited to tell him what's on their wish list. After school, we headed to Santa's work shop at Bass Pro. Bass Pro has the best set up. We got to enjoy some fun activities while waiting to see the big guy.

After all that playing, it was finally our time! They started off showing Santa what they wanted. The wish list is on Sean's phone.
Having a little chat.
Making sure he knows exactly what she wants. Ha!
Here is the official Santa picture this year. They nailed it!
I'm a little sad we don't have a crying picture this year. Growing up way too fast!
The next day we headed down to Union Station and Crown Center. We started with writing a letter to Santa. They want to be extra sure he knows what they want.

Then we checked out the train displays. We saw this last year and it's still pretty neat. Tons of trains.
Next up, we walked through a part of Science City. This screen was so neat. Maddox was watching himself run and Sage was performing with the ballerina.
We tried to go to Crown Center but all the parking garages were full so we took that cue and headed home.

We ended the weekend with a little swimming. Both are still little fish. And, Sage is getting stronger and stronger. Swimming is their thing for sure.
