Labor Day weekend is always a little bittersweet. The end of summer means pool season is over BUT it means fall is just around the corner. To celebrate, we headed to the lake to get our Big Surf on. Luckily for Sage, her birthday/weekend usually falls over the holiday weekend so she gets extra special attention.

After Big Surf, Sage and Aunt Kristin had a birthday date. Sage was treated to mani's and pedi's. She couldn't be happier.
Back at the house, the "triplets" ate some dinner...
while Maddox gave out some piggy back rides.
Sunday, we woke up to a convertible ride around the block. Maddox also went golfing but no one took his picture.
Then, headed back to Big Surf for one last swim of the season.

Sometimes, even when it's your birthday weekend and you're at Big Surf, you have to sit in time out. Not that Sage would know anything about that.

After we had all the fun we could have at the water park we headed home for cake and presents before heading back to Kansas. This girl was pumped!
We ended the weekend with a super fancy lunch with the Schoonovers.
A great end to a super weekend!
