This past weekend we visited Santa Claus. Maddox was really excited and told us what he was going to say to Santa before we got there. He saw Santa while we were waiting in line and still seemed excited to talk to him. When it was his turn to sit on his lap he decided he wasn't that excited anymore. He never cried but he wouldn't talk to him and kept his arms out to be saved the whole time. I thought if he stood by Santa that he would talk to him but he just buried his head in my shoulder instead. SO Santa didn't find out what he wanted for Christmas but Maddox is certain that Cowboy (our Elf) will relay the message. Sage sat on Mrs. Claus' lap and was fine for a minute until she saw that Maddox wasn't a fan...then she wanted down, too. She did decide they were ok once she was standing next to them though. We consider this year a success! No tears!

Elliott did great! He told Santa what he wanted and even talked about other things. Him and Santa seemed to be great friends.
