Maddox had his first dentist appointment in February. He was excited to go and knew that a smoothie was waiting for him in at the end if he was good. When we got in the room he got right up on the chair. There was a TV above the chair playing a Disney movie. He thought it was pretty great. Then came time to clean his teeth. He opened his mouth and the hygienist started cleaning, she cleaned 2 teeth and he was done. He closed his mouth and refused anymore cleaning. We then tried to take x-rays but he would still not open his mouth. The visit seemed like a huge fail to me but the dentist this was typical for a first timer. The dentist was able to put a florid treatment on his teeth so I suppose it was better than nothing. Apparently, all visits end with chocolate ice cream in the office (good or bad) so we ended on a happy note.

This is too cute! I thought Seth would do the same. But maybe having my mom there did the trick because he let them do the WHOLE thing...even flossing! lol ...It was pretty hilarious. I'm sure he'll warm up to the idea! :)
