Disney on Ice

Saturday night, Sean, Maddox and I had a date with Disney on Ice. We dropped Sage off to play with Lydia and Elsie and headed to dinner. We met the Schoonovers and Saunders at Fritz's to start off the night.

After dinner, we made our way to the Sprint Center. Maddox was so excited to see Mickey Mouse. The show was good but we think it was a little long. 2 hours is a long time to sit still for a 3 year old. The sad thing is that Mickey isn't in the show a whole lot. During the Alice and Wonderland skit, Maddox asked when Mickey and his friends were going to come back out. How many little kids really watch Alice and Wonderland these days anyway? A Toy Story skit would have been a better option....but that didn't happen. BUT, it really was a good show and all the kiddos seemed to enjoy it. That's all that matters!

The show ended at 9...way past bedtime. We talked a little about the show in the car and then he was out. He said his favorite part was Mickey Mouse.
