Maddox had a play date set for Sunday morning but with the upcoming snow storm we made a last minute switch to Saturday. He, of course, had a great time. Before we went to pick him up, we had a lunch date with Sage at Oklahoma Joe's.
We tried to get Sage to order a delicious BBQ turkey sandwich but she chose a hot dog instead. She wasn't a fan but she sure did love those fries.
After a little while we took the fries away until she ate some of the hot dog.
As you can see, she was really happy about it. She's such a sass!
It didn't last long before this daddy gave in. She got that plate of fries back and thanked him with a kiss.
When we got home we took naps...all of us. We were shocked to see the snow had already arrived when we woke up. We thought is was supposed to start at 7. It was only 3:30. We all rushed out to check out the scene.
Sean tried to catch some snowflakes.
Maddox and Sage were not at all interested and really worried about being out there without a hat. Sage was really concerned about getting her bow dirty. Haha!
They felt safe on the porch.
Then we came inside to work on some new puzzles (Thanks, Burgert's)
A total of 7 inches fell by the time we woke up today. We waited and waited for it to warm up a little so we could go sledding. We thought it was warm enough after naps but we were so wrong. The wind was so cold! We didn't last long but made the most of it while we were out there.
Maddox is a pro.
Sage likes to ride doubles.
Hi!
After a couple of falls, Sage was ready to come in. We watched from the window but kept getting hit with snowballs from the dad and brother outside. She thought it was hilarious!
Even though this snow is fun and looks so beautiful, we're ready for spring!
