The best weekend of the summer!
Our 4th of July holiday started on Thursday afternoon. We got out of school early and headed to the pool. It was a chilly day so we had the pool to ourselves. These little fish were frozen but that didn't stop them.
We made our way to the Lake mid-morning on Friday. Sage quickly enjoyed a piece of Mimi's famous cake.
And, Maddox got his first golf lesson from Paul. He was so excited and did great!
We took a golf cart ride down to the lake to check out the flooding. The water was way over the sea wall and covering the walkway on the dock. The flood gates were opened at Bagnell Dam to help out the issue. It's slowly falling back to normal.
That night we made our way to putt putt.
4th of July!
Stars, stripes and Big Surf!
After Big Surf we got cleaned up, took naps and rested up for the big night.
Lake Valley was the place to be. We enjoyed dinner, snow cones, a jump house and fun games while we waited for fireworks.
USA!
Wyatt was really nervous about the sound of the fireworks. Sean told him he was scared too so he helped him out. Ha!
Perfect end to a super fun day!
Sunday before we came home there was one more golf cart ride.
And, one more golf lesson.
Little sister couldn't be left out.
Happy Independence Day!
